In Mexican folklore, La Loba is said to wander the desert looking for the bones of wolves, and singing over them to bring them back to life. She is a symbol of healing and regeneration from Mexican folklore that I connected to, having grown up in Las Vegas before the boom, wandering the desert myself looking for "treasures."
